I'm based in Teesside and I build simple, good-looking websites for small businesses here, across the North East and anywhere in the UK. I started Magnetar Digital because small businesses were paying far too much for websites. You deal with me from start to finish, and when you email, it's me who replies.
Questions
Why is it only £199?
It's an introductory price for my first 10 clients while I build up real work to show (the examples on this site are concept designs, not clients). After that, builds start at £299. You still get a proper custom site, not a template.
What does the £34.99 a month cover?
Hosting, security checks and updates, and small changes: up to about 30 minutes of edits a month, like new prices, opening hours, photos or a seasonal offer. Bigger jobs, like a new page, I'll always price up first so there are no surprises.
What if I want to cancel?
There's no long contract. If you want to stop, just let me know. Your domain (for example yourbusiness.co.uk) is registered in your name and stays yours, and I'll help you move your website somewhere else if you'd like to keep it running.
Do I need to write anything or have photos?
No. We have a quick chat (or you answer a few simple questions), and I write the text for you to check. Photos from a decent phone work well, and if you don't have a logo, I'll set your business name in a clean, simple style.
Will it show up on Google?
I set it up properly for Google (clear page titles and descriptions, fast loading, works well on phones) and help you set up your free Google Business Profile, which is what shows on Google Maps. Nobody can honestly promise the top spot, but you'll be set up to be found.
